Arif Alvi, candidate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) won seat from NA-250 polling station, Karachi. The constituency went through re-polling due to complaints of rampant rigging earlier. While Alvi won 17,489 votes, the opponent Naimatullah Khan of Jamat-e-Islami managed to gain 446 votes.
MQM and PPP had already boycotted the re-polling in protest.
Compared to the initial traffic, the turn-out for re-polling was however lower.
